New Year planning

As we come upon a New Year and contemplate what lies ahead, it’s reassuring to remember that our future is not at the mercy of fate or chance. There's a law of spiritual prosperity and progress we can rely upon to guide and protect us as we advance toward worthy goals.

I like the instruction of the following poem by Ella Wheeler Cox:

The Winds of Fate

One ship drives east, another west,
With the self-same winds that blow.
‘Tis the set of the sails, and not the gales
That tells them the way to go.

Like the winds of the sea are the ways of fate,
As we voyage along through life
‘Tis the set of the soul
That decides the goal
And not the calm or the strife.

What direction are your sails set? And what winds do you expect them to catch?

Wow...this is a powerful message for us all....only we can know how God is setting our course and we must set our sails to His/Her navigational coordinates and not be swayed by the storms of self-doubt, opinion or fear....thank you for this reminder Evan...I am so grateful...
