Have you ever felt stuck, hopeless, and unable to solve a problem?
Yesterday, I spent a few hours trying to solve a tech problem with the template in this blog. I kept getting error messages and was getting a bit frustrated with my lack of progress. But I didn’t lose hope. It’s sort of my motto for life—Never give up!
Tempted to feel all my efforts were wasted at the end of the day, I quit working on the project and did other things to give myself some mental distance from the issue.
I quit trying to solve the problem myself and prayed only. This helps, by the way!
In my prayers, I remembered that God had the perfect solution for the template confusion. The all-knowing, all-wise Mind has a solution for any problem we ever face. No matter how distant and removed that solution seems to be from us at the moment, it is as close as our thoughts. We need only to listen and hear what God is telling us.
I decided to spend the night listening for the solution. I put all fear aside, all efforts to solve the problem myself, and just wait for the right idea to land in my thinking and tell me what to do.
I got up this morning, early, as usual, and read my Bible Lesson. While reading, I was grateful to be reminded that Spirit blesses and multiplies all right ideas.
When I finished my study, a little voice within said, “You need to download and archive your blog template for safekeeping.” I obeyed.
As I opened up the blog settings page to download my template, I noticed a little empty box with an option listed next to it that I had never noticed before. The little voice within said, “Check it!” I wasn’t sure what was going to happen, but after listening a bit longer to insure I wasn’t acting on blind impulse, the voice still said, “Check it.” So I did. And presto, all my problems were solved!
It felt unbelievable. I was soooo happy! I had finally listened sufficiently to divine Mind to know what to do. Mind knew all along, and once I got human striving out of the way, and humbly listened, the solution became apparent.
I am so grateful. And now, because of my new discovery, you’ll start to see some new items appearing on the sidebar of this blog as I freshen it up and add some gadgets I’ve wanted to include for some time now.

Mind's perfect memory
A short video clip forwarded to me today is fascinating to watch.
It illustrates the unfettered capacities of Mind and the perfect memory Mind possesses—and man possesses too, as Mind’s reflection.

Sight is mental
Would you like to improve your vision? Any sight issues you're grappling with?
I'd like to introduce a video that will rapidly expand your understanding of the mental nature of vision.
As a prelude, it's helpful to understand that a fundamental teaching of Christian Science is the truth that “All is Mind.” In this universe of Mind, faculties of sense are spiritual, not material. They are part of the eternal spiritual life the divine creator has given us. In the spiritual life which we possess now, sight and hearing are dependent upon Mind, not upon matter, for existence and continuity.
This may sound like a far-out concept to grasp to the mundane human mind believing that matter is the all-and-all of the universe. But indications of its truthfulness pop up in the most unexpected places. And this web-video a reader alerted me to, is one of those instances.
Check it out. It’s shy of 10 minutes in length, and reveals unmistakably the mental nature of sight.
This artist’s abilities prove that things are thoughts, and readily discerned by the mind that is receptive to them.

How transient a sense is mortal sight, when a wound on the retina may end the power of light and lens! But the real sight or sense is not lost. Neither age nor accident can interfere with the senses of Soul, and there are no other real senses. Mary Baker Eddy
To understand that Mind is infinite, not bounded by corporeality, not dependent upon the ear and eye for sound or sight nor upon muscles and bones for locomotion, is a step towards the Mind-science by which we discern man's nature and existence. Mary Baker Eddy
