To choose or to decide

A reader who is a dad with a son in Iraq, has been blogging about his son’s time away from home.

Yesterday, he wrote a fascinating piece on the difference between choosing and deciding when it comes to selecting a candidate to vote for in the upcoming presidential elections. I’ll think you’ll enjoy his revelations. There is a big difference between choosing and deciding, as he points out.

The "choose or decide" content starts with the second paragraph.

This piece on choose or decide along with the picture and poem reminded me of Isa 30:21 "and thine ears shall hear a word behind thee saying, This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left".

I recalled the day I realized it didn't say there was only one right way and you might possibly mess up--it said you could never make a wrong choice because regardless of the path you started down you would hear the "voice" telling you if/what you needed to make adjustments that put you on the correct path.

It says we are screw-up proof!!!

It has made choices and decision-making much easier. It's been my favorite ever since.
