Give someone a hug today

Everyone Needs A Hug!

It's wond'rous what a hug can do.
A hug can cheer you when you're blue.
A hug can say, "I love you so"
or, "Gee, I hate to see you go."

A hug is, "Welcome back again!"
and "Great to see you!"
or "Where've you been?"
A hug can soothe a small child's pain

and bring a rainbow after rain.
The hug! There's just no doubt about it,
we scarcely could survive without it.

No longer do we have to worry,
for a hug is the way to say "I'm sorry."
A hug delights and warms and charms,
it must be why we all have arms.

Hugs are great for fathers and mothers,
sweet for sisters as well for brothers.
Chances are some favorite aunts
loves them more than potted plants.

Kittens crave them, Puppies love them.
Heads of state are not above them.
A hug can break the language barrier
and make the dullest day seem merrier.

No need to fret about the store of 'em.
The more you give the more there are of 'em.

So stretch those arms without delay, and

I love it.
This just backs up the statistics that show we are not fooled by words. Did you know we only believe 7% of what people say to us, but we believe 38% of the tone of voice used while saying it and 50% of the body language used?
Hence, a hug clearly drives home the sincerity of our expressions of affection/appreciation.

I do believe you and I myself know the power of Hug... it can heal from inside and give hope and can even give you your sanity back. Hug is sincerest form of human expression. We do smile at people whom we don't like, but we only hug when it comes from within.
It has been long time ... and I still remember when the last time I was hugged sincerely. It has been a long time.
Thanks for writing this beautiful blog on Hug.
